Skydive

What: A Tandem Skydive.You’ll be jumping from an aircraft and freefalling at speeds of up to 125mph, before gliding through the skies once your parachute has opened – all the time securely strapped to your skydive instructor. 

 Where: Hinton Skydiving Centre, Hinton Airfield, Brackley, Northants NN13 5NS. https://skydive.co.uk/ Hinton is owned and operated by professional skydivers Geoff Wood and Mike Browne. 

 Hinton Skydiving Centre is the closest full time skydiving centre to London, Birmingham, Northampton, Banbury, Brackley, Milton Keynes and the Midlands. Ideally placed in the centre of the country with fast links from the M1, M5, M6 and M40 Motorways. The ‘Drop Zone’ is located at Hinton Airfield which is on the Northamptonshire / Oxfordshire border. 

When: Saturday June 8th. Arrival time 8am. Jump times vary throughout the day and are dependant on weather conditions.

 Fundraising and costs: You will be asked to pay a £70 deposit on booking. 

 We ask that you raise a MINIMUM of £395 for this event. £230 will cover the cost of your skydive £165 will come to Tough Enough To Care to help us to continue to provide our vital services.  Pay in all of your fundraising here and the charity will be invoiced for the cost of your skydive (you must have raised a minimum of £395 two weeks before the event or you will not be permitted to jump).

Every penny makes a difference

 £150 keeps our information support phones running for a month. 

£200 sponsors a free Mental Health First Aid Champion course for a community hero (in a non-profit or a grass roots sports member), enabling them to recognise signs of crisis and offer vital support. 

£250 empowers a new peer support facilitator with comprehensive training to lead our support groups each week.

 £500 ensures the annual upkeep of our community response vehicles which are a lifeline for crisis response and service promotion across the UK.
