I joined Tough Enough To Care in early 2021 having personally seen the devastating impact poor mental health can have if left unaddressed and untreated. I was in the military for 22 years and worked with people from all over the world and from every walk of life. While everyone was different and despite the military’s efforts, the stigma often associated with male poor mental health was universal. I want to help to reduce the shame associated with talking about poor mental health and let people know that no matter what the problem, talking about it will lessen the load. The ethics and commitment TETC display are second to none and I feel extremely privileged to be part of this fantastic team of selfless individuals. We’re a small non-profit charity but we’re tackling the problem head-on to remove the stigma. We hope that many people will benefit and that ultimately lives will be saved.
